Razer Mamba and Razer Carcharias introduced at CES

The Razer company that makes gaming mice, headsets, mouse pads, ect; has shown two of their new upcoming products at CES a wireless gaming mouse and a headset.
The "Razer Mamba" is a wireless gaming mouse by Razer and is the first of it's kind to my knowledge (from this company). Now right away most would say there wireless mice aren't that great for gaming, but in order to fight those comments off Razer has loaded this thing up big time.

  • Wireless with a 1 ms response time
  • Dual wireless/wired modes to satisfy any situation
  • 7 programmable buttons
  • 5600 DPI sensor (making it the fastest mouse beating the Lachesis by 1600 DPI)
  • 14 hours of continuous gaming 72 of casual gaming? Don't know what that means but heh
  • On board memory to save different player profiles

This mouse has all the features of the high-end mice and looks just like my Deathadder it is a bit pricey at $ 130 bucks though. If it dropped or was on sale I would get it and use it wired :]

They also showed the new "Razer Carcharias Headset" which seems like a regular headset, their angle is it's designed for hours and hours of gaming. Pretty sure nobody wants to see all the specs on it since it's like most mid level headsets and it is not 5.1 surround sound. It's expensive at about $ 80 bucks but heh maybe it is super comfortable.

Razer puts out awesome products that not only look amazing but have the latest technologies in gamin peripherals. Can't wait to see these for myself and see some reviews :]
