Blizzcon? What the hell is that?

As anyone who has ever played a PC knows there is a tiny little company called BLIZZARD, and this company is responsible for making you know STARCRAFT, WARCRAFT, and DIABLO...yeah that company :P Well every year they hold Blizzcon which is a celebration of these three franchises and the communities that surround them (qoute from Blizzard themselves) and I've always wanted to go. Last year tickets sold out in like seconds and it was a 100 bucks so it was pretty much out of the question. This year...I had to do something...I had to go...
It just so happens that I had some cash and thought I would try and buy tickets this year, even after hearing horror stories about tickets selling faster than people type. On May 15th I went to sleep kinda late talking on the phone to Marlene (Hi vavey) and kinda hoped I would wake up in time, after a lot of South Park and Coast to Coast I passed out. I woke up around 9:30 because my cell phone alarm and radio alarm went off at the same time, I was up but very tired but the glimmer of hope that I'd get tickets kept me awake. My mom walked in and started talking to me (sadly I do not remember what about :/) I think it was about our car or something, after awhile of conversation she left the room and I looked down at my laptop's clock...9:59 holy shaq-fu tickets go on sale @ 10 am GOGOGOGOG! I had the Blizzard store page opened so I immedietly refreshed and BAM tickets were available, I snagged two and went into the buying que there was about 1,000 people in front of me and I had 30 mins of wait time while they bought tickets. It came down to about 72 or 58% of tickets left when "Purchase" came up for me, I froze...then checked out...I tell you that "Congratz on your purchase" was sooooooo euphoric! If all goes well I will be going this year along with my girlfriend Marlene (who won't be dressing up >:[ ) and hopefully have the time of my life at my first "con". Thank God!

PS After getting tickets I tried to enter the que again for fun, there was
20,000 people in front of me and the wait time was an hour, after a few minutes the ticket number dropped and tickets were sold out...I consider myself lucky
